I understand what the commercial keepers have when the loose a lot of colonies.
Year before last I had 12 colonies. had maybe one extra super for each."AFTER" each was 5 and 6 high.
So far this year I have yet to go 5 high starting with 4 colonies and now have seven.
Have lost 3 swarms, because I couldn't get up 30 or 40 feet.
I put a feeder in a box but they didn't take it.
Most likely they had a place already picked.
So if any of you have a swarm fly away tell them to hang low on the bush just to the side of my bee yard.
