Some time ago, I found a digital recording of The Hobbitt, originally a BBC release. (this particular recording, that is)
I don't honestly remember who was reading, someone british obviously, but they did a tremendous job of it. Still one of my favorite recorded books to pop in.

That may be the one with Bob Inglis as reader. I love it and have his version of the Hobbitt and Lord of the Rings. In fact I've worn out one set over the years.
