Title: Cut out comb
Post by: Waveeater on March 16, 2017, 06:27:33 pm
I recently completed a cut out and have a Lot of old comb and comb that contains honey. The honey smells a little soured so I'm thinking of just feeding it back to my Hives. Is there a way to do this without instigating robbing at this time of the year. I was also thinking about using the old comb and putting it into swarm traps, is this a good idea?what are the pros and cons of each?any advice would be appreciated.

I just put it on the top bars, and put an empty box on to cover it.
It was nice and clean 2 days later.

Old comb is a good addition to swarm traps. I just put a piece in the bottom of a trap this evening.
