Aurora Watch Tonight!
« on: May 11, 2023, 08:33:42 pm »
For anyone in the US, we are expecting a strong geomagnetic storm tonight, with auroras much further south than normal.  Keep your eyes on the skies, and maybe you'll catch something you'd normally have to travel to Alaska to see!

I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

we are clear enough but maybe too far south.  It's been a good 30+ years since we have seen it here either because we were to far south or because the sky didn't cooperate.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

No.   Although I didn't see anything on the news this morning about how great it was, so maybe it wasn't as good as predicted.
