Title: Pollination preperation
Post by: 220 on April 03, 2017, 12:08:47 am
Have a dozen almond trees at the farm that we have never got a crop off, I'm guessing due to poor pollination. I intend to winter one of my hives near them and see if things improve.
The rest of my hives will be wintered in my bee yard that just happens to be on the edge of our apple trees so no doubt the bees will work them.
What should I do in preparation and is there anything that needs doing before I pack them down for winter.
