Did you ever find that queen? Larry
-
We never did find the queen but I suppose they made a new one. This colony went to Emil's place and he can't remember which one it is so who knows what happened for certain. I believe she was injured or killed during the removal. It was not an easy removal.

After having done a few removals myself I know you edit out all the messy parts and I don.t blame ya. Especially when you get to the honey store it tends to ooz all over everything. :-D

Good video JP. Hard work cutting out those bees but you make it look easy.

I try to keep the videos as short as possible while making them educational and entertaining. There's only so much that you can fit into these short videos.

Allen, it was a messy removal with lots of dripping honey. I believe the queen had run down and was covered in honey and perhaps we even pinched her while trying to pull out some of that hard to get to comb. We did bee quick them and even tried to get at them from the attic. We were hoping she would show but it wasn't meant to be.

Did Emil get nailed between the eyes at the end? He looks downright pi$$ed.

Emil did in fact take a sting right between the eyes at the end of the video. Ouch!

Yiks, that doesn't look like fun at all. Poor Emil getting stung on camera like that.
Did you get all the bees out of the wall using beequick?
-
Annette, it was quite a chore but we did eventually get all of them out. We did decide however to leave the set up over night to give them more time to gravitate to the set up.
