I saw a bumblebee land and march into one of my hives as pretty as could be tonight. Several guard bees "followed" him/her in. Had to go through a 3/8 slatrack to get in the hive. Watched for about ten minutes and did not it see come out. Is this common? I assume its in there robbing. Hive is not weak.

Ah ha, 30 minutes later, I got to watch them drag a bumblebee carcass out. I like bumblebees (except for the one that got in my boot on motorcycle years ago), just not in my hives.

A bumblebee landed on the front of my hive and the girl's killed it in no time.
