Layens hive stands

I saw these cheap, effective hive stands for Layens hives.
The blocks are laid a little crookedly because of tree roots, but they are level.
6 cinder blocks ($2.40 each)
2 landscape timbers ($4.50 each)
They are 8 feet long, and hold two 4 foot long Layens hives.

This is how I have my regular hives.
I am starting to move over to a Long Langs (short end entrances) and this as follows is what I am thinking for set up.

What I will be doing is taking the cinder blocks and putting them down flat, 2nd layer blocks on.  Two sets for the front part and same for back part.... IF I put 3 sets across I think I can put 2 Long Langs on them. They would share the middle set of double blocks and be at a good height for working  They would be close together on one long end and I would work from the other long end.

FYI, Again my entrances are on the SHORT END.  I have 1 hive per LL box and I want to make a smaller footprint for having them set out. 
My apiary at a Farm is only about 20' long by 7' wide area to work with.  This way all End Entrances face one way, easier to work and I can put more in that area then If I put them like your way/my way for Langs
