Title: marking a queen

Hi!
i've read a lot about marking queens but somehow the "traditional" ways require more experience, plus i don't need to really have marked queens.
so i've been wondering how could i mark a queen the easyest possible way? now, i ask you because someone mentioned few months ago he simply applies some ink onto the queen. so..now you know which method interest me the most :)
what kind of ink?

aha, great, but somehow i'm sure it cost only 2$ in any other store, just by the name "colour marker"

HI!
another question about queen marking, but this aint physical marking, it's more of a keeping a record of queen.

what's in your opinion the best way to record queens? probably nothing huh :-D

i was thinking of...
K1 (Kolenc-last name of the person who gave me that queen) and 1 as in first now, her daughters would be
K11, K12, K13....
daughters of the K12:
K121, K122, K123

but this would get rather long throu years to come.

what do you think would be the best way, besides NOT keeping a record of queens :)

I once kept records on "Wabbits". Gets messy
