How to get the labels on straight
« on: July 17, 2019, 08:54:14 pm »
I got my honey half bottled up in plastic bottles, and a local print shop did labels on peel-and-stick sheets.  I like the way they look but it is so difficult and tedious to get the label on just right. And if I mess it up a little and have to peel it off it takes even longer.

Is there a hack to this? Some sort of labeling jig? How do yall do hundreds of bottles like this?

Matt,
The trick is to start the label in the right place and keep them tight and smooth them out a little at a time.
I like the round labels that go on the top. This way when we get the jars back we just put them in the dishwasher and use new tops. This eliminates having to remove labels and the glue.

Oh Matt I wish I saw this post a week ago.  I made a label dispenser to do just that.  You can make one two.  Dang, I gave away three cases of bottles too.
I have a video on utube somewhere.

Look at you! This is brilliant! You could use shims to get the height just right.

Where do you get your labels done in a roll? Mine are on a sheet.
