Light at the end of the tunnel?
« on: December 02, 2021, 08:29:23 am »
Maybe this new variant is the light at the end of the tunnel,' says immunologist.

Professor Zvika Granot explains why the omicron variant could be a turning point in the Coronavirus pandemic. Granot is an Immunologist from the Hberew University in Jerusalem.

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

All conjecture.  As he admitted not enough is known about omicron.  And right now the nut to crack is the delta variant where the vaccines do have positive results.
Light at the end of the tunnel?  Then why is the mere mention of another variant killing the stock market?

A new Variant/Strain of the virus identified? Using PCR tests? ... do people not bother to do any homework?

A followup question: "Why do the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn't protect the protected in the first place?" ... [fingers tapping] ...

Good reasonable question. I bet Ace has the answer!  :cheesy:

More good reports here from Dr Paul and Daniel McAdams, as relayed from Scientist in South Africa. The subject matter kicks in at 4:49 minutes into the video.  Is this reporting accurate?

... question: "Why do the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn't protect the protected in the first place?" ... [fingers tapping] ...

Thought I'd post the answer to this riddle, to help those who were madly scrambling to find the answer ...

We must vaccinate the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated who put the unvaccinated at great risk of being infected by the vaccinated who are at great risk of being infected by the unvaccinated who are at great risk of negatively impacting the profits of Big Pharma.

Got it? Good! Next question:

How much wood
Would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck
Could chuck wood?

Big pharma is going to make the money whether you do the right thing and help out by getting the vac or they have to throw it in the trash cause you refuse.  That ship has sailed.

This is true.  It is also true that it would not be as much an issue if not for the governments.  They are paying for the vaccine from start to finish and pushing it.  WE are paying for it all from start to finish.  It's tax money that's holding this up all over the world.  Whether or not the vaccine is a great idea, or the argument for boosters is a valid one, we ought to know how much this is costing us.
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Yet as utterly as they sacrifice their own free will, they are no fonder of obedience than anyone else. They submit, it is true, to the whims of a clerk, but no sooner is force removed than they are glad to defy the law as a defeated enemy. Thus one finds them ever wavering between servitude and license.

It is costing us billions.  At least we are spending money to save Americans and others around the world instead of many more billions to kill Americans and others around the world with our military.

Sadly more misinformation.  It is estimated that millions of people around the world have been saved by the vaccines.  The American economy has also been saved by the vaccines.  The stock market is so in tune with vaccines that the instant news of a new variant occurs it causes it to crash.
But hey it is all good.  Except for two faced republicans and white supremacist covid will continue to reduce their numbers.
Had Trump not been president he would be dead.
Not a peep out of the conservatives when Trump threw buckets of money at pharma and at the same time claimed covid was no big deal.

I'd be more concerned with what it's doing to us.

I am guessing that you don't realize how often you contradict yourself in your efforts to blame republicans for whatever you can think up to sling at them.  It has become amusing, but not worth answering.  Your fixation on Trump is a bit concerning though.  Some counseling perhaps?
