It's an interesting coincidence that you post this, and that we now have an NZ member--I've been considering emigration to NZ. Beatiful country.

I've thought of moving down under my self.  Course.. with about 8 of the 10 most deadly snakes lurking around, a couple of the most deadly spiders,  more great white sharks than you can shake a stick at, and those little octopie that there is no cure for.. .maybe I'll just stay in utah.. bahahahahaha

I think NZ is a bit less dangerous in that respect! But other ex-pats I've talked to find the country very welcoming.

It's a funny thing: my 7X great-grandfather came to the VA colony from Scotland in 1698.

Warning: not about beekeeping!

So my family has been here a very long time.

But lately, I'm thinking, wondering if it isn't time for me to move on. It's interesting to me that my line of St. Clairs kept moving to more and more rural areas as time went on. Maybe we're just not very social. :)
