ML,

It looks as though the bees have picked up from their invasion.  You probably got onto the SHB just in time.

After two days of us both being on the swarm catching lists, the score is still 0:0.  Haha  Who runs your list..is it your local council?  Our council area is the size of Tasmania but with a 40th of the population, so I can't see too many swarms disturbing people too often.

Lone,

I just had my name added to someone's webpage, but I am thinking of going to a few other websites and adding my name there too, but I don't want to go overboard or no doubt I will be inundated with calls. I still haven't worked out how much time/effort I want to spend on beekeeping yet, so I don't want to go too hard too early.
I was thinking of calling my local council and letting them know I am prepared to remove simple swarms free of charge. If I haven't had any calls in a few weeks I might add my contact details in a few other places, possibly even the DPI.
