What would be the schedule for using the drone frames (empty frame) on newly installed packages?
-when should I start/stop using them?
-Is the number of boards 1 / brood box( at the ends ) ?

A newly installed package probably won't build any drone comb. They are busy getting established and have no significant interest in drones until they are booming and it's that time of year.
