The bad news is they came from my hives

That a nice video, with a great zoom feature.  What manufacturer made the video device, make/model.  Please do not state price as per forum rules on advertising.  Glad you got your bees back.

it was 3 video clips put together
I think the first 2 were from a 7 or 8 year old camcorder, a Cannon
not anything fancy, but they are better than a cellphone
I think the last one from the landing board was from a cellphone
the problem with trying to get video of something like that is "you're sorta busy"
if ya know what I mean :wink:
anyway, that was just 3 of about 20 video clips we got
I'll put something better together

I meant to mention
at the end where it's a clip of the landing board, notice the bees with their butt in the air fanning
ya think the queen might be in there :cool:

It looked to me like the hive was less than full of frames. Is so, I hope you know they will not use any frames in there first. They will draw new comb from the lid in the empty space first, then use the frames after the empty space is filled.

what I put them in was two 8 frame mediums, each had 4 frames of foundation
the bottom box had 1 drawn comb
this morning they were clustered from the top like iddee predicted but they hadn't had time to do anything
I filled the top box with frames of foundation at 8:00 this morning
I'll fill the bottom box once it warms up a little, it's 45 now
