Does anyone know what application the material used for queen excluders comes from?

Refrigeration? Food Service?

Does anyone have the specs on this wire grateing?

It is specifically made for the beekeeping industry.  It has to be very precise.

Beebad, just courious, why the focus on metal.  There are plastic QE, they can be cut and glued to any shape.
I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.
