Post by: Genie on April 03, 2017, 08:50:32 am
Does anyone know where I can purchase Carniolan queens this time of year.  I've never had this breed before.  are there any obvious pros and cons for these bees in SEQld

Hi Genie, I have just looked in the latest ABK (arrived today) there is no adds for Carniolan Queens. Maybe if you send an email to the Editor of the Australasian Beekeeper Des may be able to assist. You will find the contact details on the web.

This is the wrong time of the year in most parts of OZ to breed queens
