Wound up with two hives and three queens from this one folks. Emil met me just after dark and I sent him home with a new hive.

My nephew Scott was a big help today, lots of bees and lots of fun!

Crazy day huh? That was too cool!

I guess you know where to put some swarm traps.

Great job!

That was a good shot of how the bees ball the queen.   Are you going to combine the swarm with the larger hive or use it to boost a smaller hive or what.   What do you do with the extra queens?   Great video.  I liked it when you dumped the bees and saw them marching into the hive.

JP, I swear, you just show up and they flock to you!  What would you charge just to come sit in my yard next spring?  ;)

OK this is just too, too crazy. I got confused where all the bees belong. How did you ever keep track of it all.

But this made me just laugh and laugh JP. I can see that you were having an awfully good time with this confusion of bees.

If this ever happens to me, I will have to call you, because I think I would be completely overwhelmed.

Thanks for the fun
Annette

Yesterday was pretty crazy folks, have to say. Emil came by and brought with him two mediums. I sent him home with two mediums full of bees and of course a queen they were more than happy to surround.

I used the two box hive today (with queen) on a cut out I did today. This colony was mean and I pinched her majesty.

That video is being uploaded right now and I will post it tomorrow.

I also used a deep nuc (which you won't see in the video) with one of those three queens to get the remaining bees from today's cutout.

The plan albeit a little unorthodox worked like a charm.

Tomorrow, I am going back to Hopedale for yet another bee removal in a trailer.

Peace
