Title: One from a new keep
Post by: philinacoma on October 23, 2010, 09:48:53 am
I met a new beekeeper a couple of nights ago at a local club meeting.

Very sheepishly, and sounding somewhat embarrassed, she said "I've been stung by my bees". "How many times?" "Once"

Isn't that the sign of a good beekeeper, one who her bees trust and care for her?

I guess you could look at it in that way. Most of my stings come from swarms or cut-outs...

I get stung when I smash, scrub, or rub a bee the wrong way.
