Introduction to this forum
« on: May 02, 2004, 02:35:26 pm »
Welcome all to THE LAB - where we all get to be either Albert Einsteins or Frankinsteins as we manipulate the hives to better suit us, while still respecting the honeybees and our bee yards.

Please share stories about equipment you have made, queen rearing attempts, modifications in hive designs, home brew observation hives, insemination, anything that falls into the rhelm of experimenting.

Please place questions and comments about standard equipment and tools in the BASIC TOOLS AND HIVE CONSTRUCTION forum, but when you PLAY, experiment, modify equipment - please share it here along with ANYTHING you do, setting up feeders at different locations, GPS navagate your food sources, plant special flowers and plants for feeding during SLOW pollen and nectar runs, place fencing or wires to keep bees away from traffic patterns, etc., anything that falls into altering the way you and the bees interact and live together.

Have fun and even BRAINSTORM IDEAS where you would LIKE to build something for a particular purpose, but aren't that crafty - share the idea here, we have LOTS of creative people who JUST might come up with the right gadget for you.[/b]
