SOMEBODY'S RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!
One Nation, "Under God".

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a
classroom. The teacher was going to explain
evolution to the children. The teacher asked
a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree
outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass
outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see
if you can see the sky.

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes

later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No.

TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see
God because he isn't there. Possibly he just
doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the
boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked
the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass
outside?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
teacher?

TOMMY: Yes

LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?

TOMMY: No

LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we
were taught today in school, she possibly
may not even have one!

MaBuzzbee:

First, I don't think I officially welcomed you in the forums - but our many conversations in voice chat has truly given me a feeling of wisdom, humor and friendship from you.

I hope to see and hear more from you - your humor and personal tales are enlightening. When you spoke of seeing the Principal's office a few more times than one normally likes to admit to while your son listened in, I was very impressed that you have the kind of relationship that allows such sharing of real life stories and how we can all make mistakes, or at least find ourselves in positions that frankly FIVE MINUTES EARLIER were the last thing we would have expected.

Bravo on such a great family, I know from personal experience that your position in the home is pivotal and supportive - a husband's world, especially a good man like Ken and a brilliant son like Josh are tributes to your molding of character and endless love and firm grasp on what is right. Glad, so glad to hear your opinions and tales in the forum, hope to hear many more.
