I am into racing sidecars
« on: August 30, 2010, 08:31:22 am »
Ever seen those three wheeled motorcycles, imagine lowering them to with 65mm of the ground, putting flat tyres on them, placing knee pads for the driver and hand holds for the passenger and then going as fast as you can, currently 200kph at Phillip Island.
It is so good I have been doing it for 40 years, it is the best thing you can do in leather and on your knees.
Beats absailing, sailing  and maybe chicken on a highway.

I was fortunate enough to work with and get to know recent Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee Larry Coleman this past year.  Great guy!

Why do sidecar racers always have dirty machines?  Can't you wash those things every once in a while?  What's up with that?

Former beekeeper until March....maybe next year...RIP

I did a passenger day with the Victorian club at Broardford a few years back, I had an absolute hoot of a time. If I wasn't a shift worker I'd be an outfit passenger for sure.
