Plywood nuc boxes ??
« on: February 22, 2020, 10:48:50 am »
Found that cut sheet for the plywood nucs.....probably a dumb question but it calls for 1/2 inch plywood....I should be able to make the same boxes out of 3/4 without any issues right?

You?ll need to adjust your dimensions to keep your inside dimensions the same.  The frames still have to fit the box.

That's what I figured.....I'll just stick with that easy cheat sheet using the 1/2 inch stuff.  I just like something a little thicker.

Which cut sheet and nuc box plans are you using. It might be an easy adjustment. Then you could have what you want.

I found the plan and cut sheet. The way the ends fit between the sides only requires that the the top and bottom will need to be 1/2 inch wider and longer and the cleats will be 1/2 inch longer when using 3/4 material.  The sides will also be 1/2 inch longer.
