Title: Waxing Shoes
Post by: Lone on January 05, 2009, 01:01:35 am
I usually put some leather protection on my redback boots.  Would anyone know please a formula for a beeswax leather waterproofer?  I bought some new boots today.

Thanks,

Lone

I melt equal parts of beeswax and Vaseline.  Once mixed this is soft enough that you can spread it onto boots.  It works best if the boots are warm.  If it's winter I just set them on a furnace grate or vent to get warm.
