"A Spring Without Bees"
« on: October 25, 2008, 10:40:52 pm »
Hello All;
I am new to this forum and I'm not sure this is the correct place for this but I would like to encourage everyone with an interest in bees to read "A Spring Without Bees".  I already have something to be thankful for due to bees.  In my research and study I have learned just how badly we are treating bees and ourselves due to the lack of control and regulation of pesticides.  This book, Ross Conrad's book and Micheal Bush's website have been a source of what not to do to bees and our environment and a real education for me. They have shown me that, at least in my mind, pesticide and antibiotic free beekeeping is the way to go.  At least that is the way I will be working my hives. I would encourage everyone to read a "A Spring Without Bee's".  It has been a real eye-opener and alarm ringer for me.  Winenutguy
