We had a group of turkeys hatch around August 10, last. It is amazing how quickly these little dudes grow, and at the same time, how one can see which one is more aggressive than the others. There is one of them that is plain and simply gotta show everyone who is boss!! Get a load of how he is intimidating another one, and then as he got a little bit older, he began to actually stalk and fluff out his feathers, I bet he is gonna be a big one, and oh yes, so yummy. September 26, now they are about one and one half months old!!! Really getting to be a big nasty!!! The hen closest, at the front is the turkey that was hatched on April 1, she is almost as big as her mother. She is a sweetie and a half, she is very friendly and helps to take care of the little ones too! She is a beautiful bird!!!

Watching interactions of the animals is fascinating both in and out of species. They truly do have different personalities! My cockatiel clutches were the same, always a bully, always a clown, always a sweetie & the others somewhere in the middle! Keep those pics coming! J.
