You should better to mark hives with some colors that bees find their home. A man can calculate 5  and 6 is difficult to find out.

You see that bee is not so wise.

you can also put them 3 + 2 groups, not in one row.

Thanks Finsky I have been thinking about breaking them up to 2's and 3's.  I also saw where it was recomended that instead of a straight line boxes should be placed in a semi circle to reduce drifting.  I have another spot to put hives, I just need to fix it up a little.

Yea Robo.  Growing up on the internet.  I figured out how to post a picture finally.  I also frequent a salt water fly fishing forum so picture posting is a skill that was long over due.  Thanks for your offer to post for me though much appreciated.

Good! Sun direction is important to bees  2+1+2  east - south - west.

Also direction to north is as good. Only it is important that sun is shining to walls.

And more space around hive that you can work there.
