The 222 Comb Car
This page is a short demo of the painting you can do to customize your own Nascar Cup Series Cars using the software that comes with Nascar Racing 2003 Season and also you can use your favorite programs like Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop, Paint.net and Gimp.

The file template is found comes in the software, but I will include it with this page in case you wish to try your hand at customizing Nascars. This happens to be a Chevy Monte Carlo, but there are also the other big three - sorry, no Toyota yet.

I mention to that the 2003 is the standard software for all serious racers. The reason is that ( and get this name right - if you ever choose to buy it, you WON'T want to make the wrong title purchase) Nascar Racing 2003 Season by Sierra/Papyrus. After that edition, EA Sports took over the software Simulator business for Nascar and frankly, no one who is into sims likes it.

The differences are many. I'll name a few: with NR2003 (I'll abbreviate OUR SOFTWARE THAT to save space) you can race ONLINE MULTIPLAYER up to a full roster of 43 people from anywhere around the globe, EA sport versions have great restriction, typically 15 people.

Another big one is that you can combine as many Computer Generated Players (we call them A.I. for Artificial Intelligence players. Also, you can COMBINE A.I. and REAL ONLINE PLAYERS in any combination to reach a full roster of 43 or as many as you choose up to that number.

You also set the skill levels of the A.I. players, and recently I have TUNED the various traits of the real Nascar Drivers (I didn't mention that the A.I. cars have the names and car paint schemes of all the real Nascar Cup Drivers) and now, 3 years since the simulator came out, you can change the drive names and car paint schemes literally in seconds. Simulator racing is SO POPULAR that the ARTIST who paint the 24:1 scale cars FOR Nascars model collectibles, put their artwork (the full paint job EXACTLY as it appears on any Sundays race) available On-line FREE for us to download into our computers.

So, when I race my NR2003, I see the latest paint schemes, correct driver names, also real people and the great paint jobs they have made (such as my 222 car schemes) all racing each other on all the Nascar Tracks, short ovals, speedways, road course and super speedways. As time goes on, the game evolves and always looks fresh and new. Please read the FULL PAGE www.beemaster.com/nascar.html to read how REAL it is and for all my driving tricks.

I'll close the written part of this page by saying, NR2003 is NOW a very collectible item. You will not just find it on a shelf at Wal-Mart, you will need to go to Ebay or elsewhere and pay big bucks for it. I bought it new for $29.95 and a friend recently got it for $88.00 and THAT was a good buy, I've seen it over $100.00.

Lastly, about the on-line multiplay - you can find thousands of people playing 24/7/365 - the only rules are no more that 43 races at any track, but you may have UNLIMITED races running at that same track simultaneously. You gain rating points from 0-10 in each of the 4 racing tracks mentioned above. But if all you like to do is race bumper to bumper at Bristol, you never have to race elsewhere. You can both join races and host races. You can change the length of races, have practice, qualifying for position, happy hour and races. And the coolest part is that you have FULL FEEDBACK VIDEO and AUDIO of any race you choose to save - but the best of all, full DVD type features from any car, any cam (helicopter, grand stands, pits, bumper, chase cam, on and on.

Again, much more at my www.beemaster.com/nascar.html page which will really fill you in. To end, here are a few more pics of the Comb Car - click here to see the Brown Navy Car - see you on the track.
